Information Technology also provides departmental computer service and parts sales, as well as special pricing on certain software packages, through our Microsoft Select agreement and other licensed software programs.

Does UW Provide Any Warranty Support on Computers?

UWIT is an authorized Apple and Dell Service provider, offering warranty support for all Apple and Dell computers and servers, and Dell Printers. We cannot provide support for iPods, iPhones, iPads, or other Apple devices.

Print to a UWSTUDENT Lab Printer from a Computer Connected Via the UW Wireless Network

There are printers for student use located in each of the UWSTUDENT labs on campus. The UWSTUDENT lab computers in these labs are automatically configured to print to these printers. However, with the completion of just a few steps, it is also possible for a student to print to these printers from their own personal computer connected via the UW wireless network.

UW Supported Hardware Standards include HP, Dell, Gateway, IBM, and Apple.

UWStudent Print Quota Increase Utility

Using the UWStudent Print Quota Increase Utility, students can agree to be billed for increases to their UWStudent print balance instead of paying for print quota increases in advance.

Quota increases will be available immediately.
