Locating My Payments Insider

Step Two

Running the Report

  • Click on "Reports" on the left-hand side of your screen, and then select "Payments".

  • If you have multiple Merchant Identification numbers, select the desired MID in the Location Field. Otherwise, proceed to selecting the desired date fields.
    • A Payment Report should be generated for the Payment Dates from Friday through Thursday.

  • After the desired fields have been entered, select "Show Results".

Step Three

  • There are two options to view the report
    • Exporting the report to Excel
    • Details Screen

Exporting the Report to Excel

  • Click on "Export", then "Advance Export"

  • Confirm that the "Payment Summary (Download in .csv format)" is not checked and select "All Columns"
  • Click "Download".

Details under Payment Summary Report

  • The second option is to scroll down the screen to "Details". Here you can toggle between the Batch and Transaction totals at the top right.
  • The Batch view will display the deposits that were sent to UW's bank by Payment Date. You can use these individual deposit totals to fill out the credit card revenue deposit advice.

Step Four

Reading the Report

  • If you use the downloaded Excel Payment Report, it will contain several tabs. Select the "Batch" tab.
  • This report may include fees charged to your MID and chargebacks in the Batch Amount column. Processing fees will show up as a negative dollar amount. Chargebacks will show up as either positive or negative dollar amounts depending on the situation.

For example, the amounts circled below represents processing fees charged for this merchant account and a chargeback.

  • The Accounting Office centrally reviews fees and posts those separately in WyoCloud. No action is required on your part for the fees to be posted. These should not be included on the Credit Card Revenue Deposit Advice.
  • Please include any chargebacks on your Credit Card Revenue Deposit Advice.
  • Transaction detail by batch number can be viewed on the "Payments" tab of the downloaded Excel document.

Once you have pulled the report information, please visit the Deposit Advice Form QRG for steps on filling out the form.
