This guide will cover:
- Viewing benefit elections within WyoCloud HCM.
Note: Overall benefit elections can be viewed in HCM under My Profile>My Benefits>Active Employee Benefits.
Employees make all benefit elections outside of WyoCloud HCM. Current employees with qualifying life events or during open enrollment can make insurance and flexible spending elections in the Employees’ Group Insurance (EGI) Portal. Retirement elections and changes to supplemental retirement must be made via paper form based on the option selected. Full details can be found on the Human Resources Benefits website.
Overall benefit elections can be viewed in HCM under My Profile > My Benefits > Active Employee Benefits. For a more detailed view of benefits including dependents covered and coverage dates, you can view your elections in the Employees’ Group Insurance (EGI) Portal. Contact the Human Resources Benefits Office if you have questions about your retirement or insurance benefits.
Once insurance and flexible spending benefit elections are made, employees can review them in the EGI Portal. Please allow up to one month after election for the benefit details to be reflected in HCM.

This guide details the steps for completing this process as a benefited employee. Note: If you do not see the features described in this guide, your assigned WyoCloud training is likely incomplete. This training is available within HCM under My Profile > Learning > Required Learning.

All new employees should first attend New Employee Orientation for additional information on benefit options and enrollment directions.

Step One
Navigate to the Benefits section of WyoCloud HCM from WyoWeb.
- Upon signing in, the homepage will display. From the homepage, click My Benefits from the Quick Actions on the My Profile tab.

- The My Benefits page will display.
- To review your current Medical, Dental, Life, Vision and Disability Plans as well as some Employer Paid Plans (such as Employee Assistance Program (EAP), click Active Employee Benefits.

Step Two
- On the Active Employee Benefits page you will see:
- A summary of your employee cost each pay period.
- Summary of individual plans in which you are enrolled, with the employee cost per pay period on the right side of the page. To view additional details, click the down arrow to the right of each plan.

- After expanding a plan you will see the following details:
- Plan name and type (i.e.: family + deductible).
- Coverage start date (note for 2019 this date will be 7/1/19 or later due to the mid-year go-live of benefits in HCM, thus it may not be the plan’s actual start date).
- Annualized employee cost for the benefit plan.
- Employer cost for the benefit plan per pay period (noted under Secondary).
- Who is covered: Due to UW utilizing the State of Wyoming’s Employee Group Insurance (EGI), this will always only show you no matter if you have dependents covered or not. You may also see an alert that dependents need to be designated, please disregard this notice as all dependent information is managed in the EGI Portal.

At this time retirement benefits are not currently displayed within the employee portion of WyoCloud. If you have questions about your retirement benefits, contact the Payroll.
