Employee Manager Change - Manager

This guide will cover:

  • Changing line managers (supervisors) for employee(s) within your area of supervision. This process is also used to update the direct reports of managers in your line of supervision. 

This guide details the steps for completing this process using Supervisor/ Manager WyoCloud access.

Step One

  • Upon logging into WyoCloud from WyoWeb, navigate to My Team using the Navigator bar in the upper left corner

  • First click My Team to expand, then click My Team within the navigator.

  • The My Team homepage will display.  Here you will see all employees in your direct line of supervision.

Step Two

Find the individual whose line manager needs to be changed.

  • Click the three dots to the right of the employee you would like to change manager for.

  • From the drop-down, select Change Manager.

Step Three

In step one:

  • Enter the effective date in the “When does the manager change start?field.
  • Select the most appropriate option from the “Why are you changing the manager?” drop-down.
  • Click Continue.

If the individual you are doing a manager change on has direct reports, you will be prompted to elect if you’d like to also change those direct reports at this step.  It is not required to change the direct reports.  You can also only move the direct reports.

  • In step two, the current manager will display. To change, click the Pencil icon to the right.

  • To change the manager, begin typing the new manager’s name into the Name field.  The system will search as you type.  Once the correct person is found, click on their name to select.

  • After the person is selected, confirm Line Manager is listed under Type. Then click OK.

  • Click Submit in the top right corner.

You have completed the steps to Changing Employee’s Manager.
