Adding Goals for a Direct Report or Team

This guide will cover:

  • Adding a goal for one direct report in particular or a specific member of the team and how to add one specific goal to multiple reports as part of a team.

This guide details the steps for completing this process using Supervisor/Manager WyoCloud access.

 

Navigate to Goals

Navigate to the Goals section of WyoCloud HCM from WyoWeb

  • Upon signing in, the homepage will display.  Click on the Navigator button (three horizontal lines) in the upper left-hand corner.

  • The Navigator Menu will open.
  • Choose My Team > Performance Overview.

  • The Performance Overview page will open.

 

Create a Team Goal

  • Choose the correct Review Period.

Note: The Performance Review page will always default to the most current review period. To review past goals click the down arrow next to the review period name and you will see the past review periods.

  • Choose a specific employees you want to add goals for.

  • Click the Action button above the employee names.

  • Click Add Performance Goal.

  • The Add Performance Goal page will open.

Note: Allow worker to update key attribute will default as checked. This allows the employee to update the goal after creation to reflect status of completion. Unchecking this category will keep status updating under supervisor control. Check and uncheck per employee as you see fit. 

  • Add goal information.

Note: Required information will have an asterisk next to the title. 

  • In the top right hand corner of the page click Save and Close.

  • This completes creating a Team Goal.

 

Creating an Individual Employee Goal

  • Follow the steps for Step One Navigation to go to the Performance Overview page.

  • From the Performance Overview page find the employee you wish to add a goal for.
  • Click the hyperlinked number under Completed Goals.

  • The employee’s Performance Goal page will open

Note: The Performance Goals page will always default to the most current review period. To review past goals click the down arrow next to the review period name and you will see the past review periods. Goals added to the 2020 review period will pull into the 2020 evaluation.

  • Click the Add button.

  • The Add a Goal page will open.

Note: Required information will have an asterisk next to the title. 

  • Add a Goal Name along with other goal attributes as needed.

  • Click Save.

  • This completes adding an employee goal.

 

Editing Goal Weights

  • Follow Step One, Navigation, to the Performance Overview page.
  • From the Performance Overview page find the employee you wish to add a goal for.
  • Click the hyperlinked number under Completed Goals.

  • The employee’s goal page will open.

  • Click the Actions button.

  • Form the Action button click Edit Weights.

  • The Edit Weights page will open.
  • Edit weights as needed.

  • After goal weights are set click Save and Close in the upper right hand corner of the page.
