Adding and Editing Goals for Staff or Administrative Evaluations

This guide will cover:

  • Adding or editing goals for the Annual Performance Evaluation process for staff and administrators.

This guide details the steps for adding or editing goals using Supervisor/Manager and Basic Employee WyoCloud access.  Note: If you do not see the features described in this guide, your assigned WyoCloud training is likely incomplete.  This training is available within WyoCloud under My Profile > Learning & Development > My Learning.

 

Navigation

Navigate to the Goal Center section of WyoCloud

  • Supervisors can find their employees’ goals by logging into WyoCloud from WyoWeb, then navigating to My Team/Team Goals Center.

 

  • Employees can find their goals by logging into WyoCloud from WyoWeb, then navigating to My Profile/Career and Performance, and then selecting Goals Center

Note: Select the correct annual review period for the goal you are creating.

 

Adding or Editing Goals as an Employee

  • Go to WyoCloud and select My Profile/Career and Performance and then select the Goals Center as shown in navigation.
  • In the Career and Performance page, go to the Goals Center.
  • In the Goals Center, you will see an Add button. Click the Add button to add a new goal.

  • Start by naming your new goal, and if you select it, AI Assist can help you describe your goal more thoroughly.
    • Make sure to validate any information provided by AI Assist.
    • AI Assist will help you fill out the “Any additional info you want to add” field and the “What will indicate that this goal is achieved” field when used.

  • Continue to fill out all required information about your goal, to make it as thorough as possible.
    • The more information provided, the more your supervisor can work with you to meet that goal.

  • The Start Date and Target Completion Date fields will automatically load with dates, but these dates can be updated and changed if appropriate.
  • Add a Weight for the goal in the system based on a percentage.
    • Remember, all goals should add up to equal 100%.
  • A Priority level can also be provided for the goal but is not required.

  • Documentation can be added to the goal by dragging and dropping a document or providing a URL.

  • Once the goal is completed, select the Add button in the upper-right corner of the page.
    • Once selected, the supervisor will need to view and edit the goal.

  • To edit a goal as an employee, instead of selecting Add, select the name of the goal you wish to edit.

  • Then select Edit Goal Details.

  • Employees can update their progress by selecting the desired goal and selecting Edit Goal Details.
  • Fill out the Update your progress fields and select Update Progress when finished.

 

Adding a Goal as a Supervisor

  • Go to WyoCloud and select My Team/Team Goals Center and then select the employee you wish to add or edit a goal for.

  • Select the correct Review Period and click the Add button.

  • Start by naming the new goal. If selected, AI assist will help you thoroughly describe your goal.
    • Make sure to validate any information provided by AI Assist.
    • AI Assist will help you fill out the “Any additional info you want to add” field and the “What will indicate that this goal is achieved” field when used.

  • Continue to fill out all required information about your goal, to make it as thorough as possible. The more information you provide, the clearer the goal is for the employee.

  • The Start Date and Target Completion Date fields will automatically load with dates, but these dates can be updated and changed if appropriate.
  • Add a Weight for the goal in the system based on a percentage.
    • Remember, all goals should add up to equal 100%.
  • A Priority level can also be provided for the goal.

  • Documentation can be added to the goal by dragging and dropping a document or providing a URL.

  • To edit a goal as a supervisor, after selecting the applicable employee, select the goal you wish to edit,

  • Then select Edit Goal Details.

  • Supervisors can update their employee’s progress by selecting the desired goal and selecting Edit Goal Details
  • Then fill out the Update your progress fields and select Update Progress when finished.
