Accessing the main Mailman web page from off campus

Introduction

The main UW Mailman page can be accessed from off campus only through WyoSecure. This article will go over how to connect to the Mailman page primarily through the browser. If you wish to connect to it through Ivanti, links for how to do the setup are provided, and you can connect to the Mailman page after the connection is complete by just going to the webpage itself.

Procedure

Step 1

Visit https://wyosecure.uwyo.edu to connect to WyoSecure via your browser.

Alternatively, if you already have Ivanti installed on your device, you can connect to WyoSecure through the Ivanti app. If you have Ivanti, and are unfamiliar with how to connect to WyoSecure through the app, follow the instructions relevant for your device here:

Step 2

Login using your domain credentials.

Step 3

In the browse bar, copy the mailman link you wish to visit, for example the main Mailman page: https://lists.uwyo.edu/ into the white browse bar and click Browse.

Step 4

You can bookmark Mailman links by pressing the bookmark icon located to the left of the Browse bar when you are browsing a Mailman page. The bookmark will be displayed in the “Web Bookmarks” section of your WyoSecure main page.

Step 5

When you are finished using Mailman, you can disconnect from WyoSecure by clicking the Sign Out icon at the top right of the Browse bar.
