Introduction
Information Technology provides ESRI’s ArcGIS software, ArcGIS 10.8 and ArcGIS Pro, for all current UW faculty, staff and students. This software can be used to create and analyze geographic maps for a variety of applications and disciplines. This product is available for UW owned computers and personal computers through a student version.
For UW own computers, the software can only be used while the computer is connected to the UW network. If you wish to use the software off campus or in the field, then you will need borrow a license. Please visit How to Borrow a License in ArcGIS for instructions on how to do this.

Procedure
To request ArcGIS, click "Request Software" and fill out the form with accurate information. Granting access to this software is a manual process, so it will not happen instantly and will only be processed during business hours.
