Content Management Service account (CMS)

Introduction

UW uses Cascade Server as its enterprise-wide website content management system (CMS) which makes it easy for site authors to create, maintain and manage websites using various template design assets. To obtain access to the CMS, Site Authors must complete Level 1 CMS training and a separate website accessibility training. Site authors will need to adhere to UW’s brand standards. Any website development outside of this CMS on behalf of university entities requires additional approval.

 

Available to

This is available to employees approved for access by a current Site Owner and upon completion of the required training. If you are unsure of the current site owner, please visit our ASO data managers page.

Procedure

Click the Request Service button on this page, fill out the request form, and click Request. Your request will be sent to the Site Owner for review and approval and you will be contacted when your account is ready.
