Update Individual Performance Goals

This guide will cover:

  • Adding a performance goal.
  • Reviewing/editing a performance goal.
  • Submitting a performance goal for approval.

This guide details the steps for completing this process using Employee WyoCloud access.  Note: If you do not see the features described in this guide, your assigned WyoCloud training is likely incomplete.  This training is available within HCM under My Profile > Learning > Required Learning. 

 

Step One

Navigate to the Goals section of WyoCloud HCM.

  • Upon logging into WyoCloud from WyoWeb, navigate to My Profile using the Navigator bar in the upper left corner.

  • First click My Profile to expand, then Career and Performance.

  • The Career and Performance page will display. Select Goals.

Step Two

Add a goal.

  • On the Goals page, the current review period will display with all of your current goals underneath. Select the correct Review Period.

Note: The Performance Review page will always default to the most current review period. To review past goals, click the down arrow next to the review period name and you will see past review periods.

  • Click the +Add to add a new goal.

Step Three

Add goal details.

  • The Add Goal page will display. Enter the goal details.
    • You can select a Library Goal from the drop-down or create a new goal. For the purpose of this guide, a new goal will be created.
    • Enter a Goal Name and Description.
    • Enter the Weight for your goal. Note that the total of all goal weights must equal 100%.
    • The goal can be marked private with the Private checkbox.
    • The Start Date and Target Completion Date will auto-populate based on the review period. These dates can be changed if desired.
    • Utilize the drop-downs to update Category and Status as needed.

Note: Required information will have an asterisk next to the title. 

  • Once desired details are entered, click the Save button.

 

Step Four

Review/edit goals.

  • Click the up/down arrows in the bottom right corner of a goal to collapse/expand goal details.

  • Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of a goal to edit the goal.

  • Once desired edits are complete, click the Save button.

 

Step Five

Submit added/edited goals.

  • Once you are done adding goals or making edits, click Submit on the Goals page.

  • The Additional Info page will display where Comments and Attachments can be added, although they are not required.
  • Click Submit in the top right corner. This will send your goal changes to your supervisor/manager for approval.

If you want to track the approval progress of your goal changes, refer to the Navigating to the BPM Worklist and View Transactions You Initiated sections of the Tracking Transactions and Using the BPM Worklist Quick Reference Guide. You can also check the progress directly from the Goals page by clicking the See how it’s going hyperlink.

Once you click Submit, your Goals page will be locked until your supervisor/manager has taken approval action on your changes. While the page is locked, you will not be able to add/edit goals.
