Emails as Attachments

If you need to add an email as an attachment, for sharing or for reporting phishing emails, you can follow the instructions below for the Web Application (OWA) or the Desktop Application

Email as Attachments (Desktop Application)

1.Open a new email and enter the email address, then select the "Open in new window" button

2. Click and drag the desired email into the body of the new email

3. The email should appear as an attachment in the body of the email

Email as Attachments (Web Application, OWA)

To attach an existing email as an attachment in a new email you will need to follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://outlook.office365.com/owa/uwyo.edu and log in with your UW username and password.

2. You will want to create a new email and then move it to a separate window.

 

3. You can now go to your inbox and drag the email into the body of the new email.

 

4.Once you drag and drop it into the body of the new email, you should see it appear as an attachment.

 

You have now attached an existing email to a new email and it is ready to be sent.
