Athletics Department Performance Evaluations (Coaches) - Manager

The steps in this guide apply when a supervisor conducts annual performance evaluations for Athletics Department coaches.

Step One

My Team Navigation                                                                         

  • After logging in to WyoCloud HCM, click on the My Team module tab in the top taskbar.
  • Click on the Performance application.

Step Two

Evaluate Performance

  • After you have clicked on the Performance application, the Evaluate Performance page will populate.
  • Ensure you have selected the current annual review period in the Review Period field.
  • The Evaluate Performance page will show all performance documents for the selected period.
  • Click on the name of an employee to view personnel evaluations.

  • After clicking on an employee's name, their personnel evaluation page will populate.
  • Please ensure Supervisor is listed as the one evaluating the top of the page.
  • The employee’s name will be listed second.
  • To start the evaluation process, click on Evaluate on the right-hand side of the category under the Evaluation Topics section.

  • After clicking on Evaluate, the Evaluation Topics page will populate.
  • Please ensure the correct topic category is listed at the top of the page.
  • The employee’s name will be listed second.
  • Within each Evaluation Topic, specific competencies will be listed.
  • Click on the stars under each competency to rate the employee’s proficiency.
  • Please include additional notes in the Manager Comments field to explain your rating.

  • The page will only show the first few competencies.
  • Click on Load More Items or Show Additional Info to load further competencies and content.

  • After completing the ratings and comments for each competency, scroll to the top of the page and click on Save and Close to save the information for this Evaluation Topic.

Step Three

Overall Evaluation Summary

  • Next, click on Edit to complete the Overall Summary section for the personnel evaluation.
  • Please ensure Supervisor is listed as the one evaluating the top of the page.
  • The employee’s name will be listed second.

  • Click on the stars under the Manager Rating to rate the employee’s overall performance.
  • Please include additional notes in the Manager Comments field to explain your rating.
  • When finished, click on Save.

  • In the upper right-hand corner, click on Submit.

Step Four

Track Performance Documents

  • After clicking on Submit, the main Evaluate Performance page will populate.
  • Ensure you have selected the current annual review period in the Review Period field.
  • The Evaluate Performance page will show all performance documents for the selected period.
  • Track the status of performance documents for each employee by following the task list under their name.

Supervisor Shares Performance Document

  • After the Supervisor Conducts Evaluation, the next task listed is the Supervisor Shares Performance Document.
  • Click on the name of an employee to view performance documents.

  • After clicking on an employee's name, their performance documents page will populate.
  • Please ensure Supervisor is listed as sharing the performance documents at the top of the page.
  • The employee’s name will be listed second.
  • Click on Share and Release.

  • After clicking on Share and Release, a Comments field will populate.
  • Include any additional notes to be shared within the section.

  • When finished, click on Submit in the upper right-hand corner.

  • After clicking on Submit, the main Evaluate Performance page will populate.
  • Ensure you have selected the current annual review period in the Review Period field.
  • The Evaluate Performance page will show all performance documents for the selected period.
  • Track the status of performance documents for each employee by following the task list under their name.

Employee Acknowledges & Provides Final Feedback

  • After the Supervisor Shares the Performance Document, the next task listed is the Employee Acknowledges & Provides Final Feedback.

Supervisor Provides Final Feedback & Submits Document

  • After the Employee Acknowledges & Provides Final Feedback, the next task listed is the Supervisor Provides Final Feedback & Submits Document.
  • After clicking on an employee's name, their feedback and performance documents page will populate.
  • Please ensure Supervisor is listed as the one providing final feedback and submitting the performance documents at the top of the page.
  • The employee’s name will be listed second.
  • To start the review process, click on View on the right-hand side of the category under the Evaluation Topics section.

  • After clicking on View, the Final Feedback section will populate.
  • Review any Manager Comments and Employee Comments.

  • When finished, click on Continue in the upper right-hand corner.

  • After clicking on Continue, a final Comments field will populate.
  • Include any final manager notes to be shared with the employee.

Next Level Supervisor Approves Document

  • After clicking on Submit, the main Evaluate Performance page will populate.
  • Ensure you have selected the current annual review period in the Review Period field.
  • The Evaluate Performance page will show all performance documents for the selected period.
  • Track the status of performance documents for each employee by following the task list under their name.
  • After the Supervisor Provides Final Feedback & Submits Document, the next task listed is the Next Level Supervisor Approves Document.
