UW supports the following single sign on (SSO) protocols:
SAML 2
CAS
OIDC/OAuth
ADFS
We do not allow direct access to Active Directory by external services.
UW is a member of multiple federations - InCommon, eduGain, and UK Access Management (see https://met.refeds.org/met/search_service/?entityid=https%3A%2F%2Fshibboleth.uwyo.edu%2Fidp%2Fshibboleth for our current membership list). If the service you want to set up SSO for is also a member of one of these federations then it is quite possible access is already granted to the service without the need for further set up.
