Introduction
The Focused Inbox by default is turned on in your UW Office 365 Account. If you would like this to be turned off please follow the instructions provided below
What is the Focused Inbox

Formally known as Clutter

Helps move lower priority messages out of your Inbox

Analyzes your emails and based off your past behavior will determine which emails you're most likely to ignore

Will move these "ignored" emails into a separate folder called "Focus Inbox" so they can be reviewed later

Step 1: In the Classic Outlook Application, navigate to the "View" menu
- Here the option "Show Focused Inbox" is by default selected. Select this option to be turned off

This will now remove the "Focused" and "Other" tabs and will consolidate all your emails into one view

Step 1: In Outlook, navigate to the gear icon on the upper right hand corner to open the "Settings" menu

Step 2: In the Settings Menu, navigate to the "Mail" settings and select the "Layout" option
- Here the option the "Do you want Outlook to sort your email to help you focus on what matters most?", by default the option "Sort messages into Focused and Other" is selected.
To turn this off please select "Don't sort my messages" and then click "Save"

This will now remove the "Focused" and "Other" tabs and will consolidate all your emails into one view
