Windows
1.) Click on the windows menu on your task bar to use windows search. Type cmd to search for the command prompt tool and open it.
2.) Inside the command prompt tool type or copy the following command and press enter:
ipconfig /all
This will display your network configuration
3.) Search in Windows Search for the Snipping Tool.
4.) Open the snipping tool and click new or press control + n to make a selection.
5.) Select all of the network configuration information by holding left click on your mouse and dragging across the desired area.
6.) Save the image by clicking the save icon.
7.) You can now attach the saved image in an email to an IT administrator.
Mac OS
1.) Open System Settings
2.) Select network, then your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and Click Details.
3.) Go to TCP/IP (for IP info)
4.) Go to Hardware (for MAC address)
5.) Copy the information and paste it into a text file or email.
