SAS JMP Pro v. 17 Windows Installation

Introduction

To request access to SAS JMP Pro v. 17, please fill out the request form located here:

NOTE: Functional knowledge and use of this application is the responsibility of the user.

NOTE: YOU NEED TO BE AN ADMINSTRATOR ON YOUR COMPUTER FOR THIS INSTALLATION TO WORK. If you are not an administrator on your computer, please contact the help desk at http://support.uwyo.edu, call 766-HELP (4357) option 1, or email userhelp@uwyo.edu

Procedure

  1. Click on the window enter the Search programs and files button and in Start 
    \\uwapps.uwyo.edu\SAS-JMPpro-v17$\Windows\ and push Enter

  1. Click on jmppro_1700_win.exe.

  1. On the Install Shield Wizard window, click Next.

  1. On the Choose Destination Location window, click Next.

  1. On the Installation Options window, select additional options if you need them. Once you have selected all the options you want, click Next.

  1. On the Ready to Install the Program window, click Install.

  1. On the InstallShield Wizard Complete window click Finish.

  1. The Install Wizard will ask if you want to restart your computer now or later.  You must restart before using SAS JMP.  Select the option that meets your needs and click Finish.

  1. Click on the Start button and in the find JMP Pro 17 and push Enter.

  1. On the JMP Registration window, click Wait to Register.

  1. On the JMP Home Window, click on Help and then click on Renew License.  
    NOTE:  In some case the install detects the needed license, if this occurs the "Renew License" option is greyed out and you do not need to do the below steps.  

  1. On the Renew Your JMP License window, click Open License.

  1. On the Select your JMP License File, Enter \\uwapps\SAS-JMPpro-v17$\License\JMP_Pro-Windows-License and click Open.

 

  1.  Select the JMP170_9CWH66_70157430_Win_X64 file and click Open.

 

  1. On the Personalize Your JMP License window you may enter your information but it is not required. Once finished, click OK.

 

  1. You will receive a popup telling you that you cannot save to this location. Click OK.

  1. On the Save License As window, Redirect the file to save to your Documents and then click Save.

  1. You will get a message stating the license has been accepted, click OK.
