SAS JMP Pro v. 16 Mac Installation

Introduction

NOTE: Functional knowledge and use of this application is the responsibility of the user.

Procedure

1. Go to GO and click Connect to Server

 

2. Type smb://uwapps.uwyo.edu/SAS-JMPpro-v16$/Mac in the server address box and click Connect. *You will be prompted to put in your UW user name and password to access this share*

 

3. Double click JMP-Install.dmg

 

4. Double click JMP Pro 16.pkg

 

5. For the prompt: "'Installer' would like to access files on a network volume" - Click OK

6. On the Introduction window click Continue.

 

7. On the Installation Type window click Continue.

 

8. On the second Installation Type window click Install. *You may be prompted to put in your computer’s username and password to perform this install*

 

9. When the install is complete click Close.

 

10. Go to GO and click Connect to Server

 

11. Type smb://uwapps.uwyo.edu/SAS-JMPpro-v16$/License/JMP_Pro-Mac-License in the server address box and click Connect. *You may be prompted to put in your UW user name and password to access this share

 

12. Drag the JMP160_9CLSHL_7015743_OSX_X86-64.txt file to your Desktop.

 

13. Hit Command + Space (⌘+Space) and search JMP Pro 16 and hit Return to open.

 

14. On the Provide Your JMP License window click Open License.

 

15. On the Select your JMP License File window select your Desktop and select the JMP160_9CLSHL_7015743_OSX_X86-64.txt file. Click Choose.

 

16. At the Personalize Your JMP License window you may enter an Administrator Name and Department if you choose, however, this is optional. Once finished, click OK.

 

17. You will get a message saying “Your license has been accepted. Thank you.” Click OK.

18. On the JMP Registration window click Wait to Register.
