Central Web Site Management Request Forms

Overview

The following web related services are available through our Website Services Portal.  This page links to webforms for users to request configuration changes, DNS hosting, redirects, and other related web services.  Website Management may be requested from Institutional Marketing and is associated with required training.  See Institutional Marketing's page on Becoming a new CMS Site Editor here.

Website Content Requirements

All University of Wyoming websites must support University-related work and may not be used for personal content.

If you are unsure whether your website or content meets University requirements, contact your IT User Consultant before submitting your request.

Security Requirements

Website managers and authors are responsible for developing and maintaining secure websites.

This includes:

  • Following secure coding practices
  • Promptly addressing security vulnerabilities
  • Ensuring website code does not introduce security risks

Important: Websites containing insecure code may be taken offline or disabled by Information Technology until the security issue has been resolved.
