Setting up Ivanti Secure on iOS Devices

Before You Begin

To continue with this guide you'll need:
For reference, the Ivanti Secure App icon is:
 
 

Procedure

Step 1

To begin, tap on the "App Store" icon

Step 2

In the App Store tap "Search"

Step 3

Begin typing "Ivanti Secure", you may tap the suggestion if it comes up.

 

Step 4

Enter your Apple ID password or, if your phone has Touch ID use that to authorize installation of the App.
Note: While it is possible that your Apple ID and UWyo ID could be the same, it is highly unlikely. They are unique credentials for distinctly separate accounts.
Changing your Apple ID will not effect your UWyo account or vise versa. UWIT can not find, change or modify your Apple ID.

Step 5

Note: The App may take a moment to install depending on the speed of your device and available wifi or cellular data connectivity.
Once installation has completed tap "Open"
                              OR
Press the Home Button to tap on the Ivanti Secure icon.

Step 6

Tap "Allow" to allow notifications in Ivanti.

Step 7

You will be prompted to enter the URL provided by your company.  Enter https://wyosecure.uwyo.edu.

Step 9

After entering the URL.  Tap Connect.

Step 10

Tap "Allow" on the screen to Add VPN Configuration.

Step 11

Enter your iPad passcode to add that VPN connection.

Step 12

At the WyoLogin page, enter your credentials.

Step 13

You will be redirected to a page asking you to Open Duo Mobile. If you have Duo Mobile installed, click that option. If you don't have Duo Mobile installed, go to your app store and install Duo Mobile. Step 14

After opening Duo Mobile, you will be asked whether it is really you logging in to Wyologin Web, click Approve.

Step 15

Head back to the Ivanti Secure Access Client app and select Yes, this is my device.

Step 16

Your device may ask you to login one more time. If this happens, enter your UW credentials and click Login.

 

Finished!

You will then be connected.
 

 

Disconnecting from Ivanti Secure

 

When you're done, swipe or tap the to disconnect.
