Titanium Access and Install

Titanium

Getting access to Titanium

Titanium client software is used to manage patient information for the University Counseling Center (UCC), the Wyoming Center on Aging (WYCOA), and the Psychology Clinic.  Information contained on Titanium is protected and subject to security regulations.  Access should only be provided to users within UCC, WYCOA, or the Psych Clinic after obtaining approval from the employee's supervisor.

  • The requesting departments should make ACL requests for access for both new Titanium users and for existing users when they change computers, rebuild computers, or obtain new computers.  The ticket is also assigned to Department Systems so that the system administrator can make appropriate changes to the host firewall.
  • A ticket also needs to be submitted to ASO to add the user to the departmental organizational unit in Active Directory.
    • For UCC, the AD groups are: UCC and ucc-titanium
    • For Psychology Clinic and WYCOA, the AD group is:  TitaniumUsersPsychologyClinic
  • For Psychology Clinic student co-horts, additional permissions must be requested from UW Security requesting access and RDP access through the VPN.  Supervisor approval is required and an end-date for when access is to be removed is also required.

Installing Titanium

1. Start by having the User sign into the computer, map the warehouse drive: \\warehouse.uwyo.edu\ucc\titanium

At the top, there is a question asking, "What network folder would you like to map?" Below, there are two main input fields labeled "Drive" and "Folder." The "Drive" field shows a dropdown menu currently set to "W:". The "Folder" section features a text box with a file path displayed as "\warehouse\ucc\titanium\". There is a "Browse..." button next to the folder path, allowing users to navigate their file system. Additionally, there are example instructions below the folder path field that reads, "Example: \server\share." Below that, there are three checkboxes with labels: "Reconnect at sign-in," "Connect using different credentials," and lastly, a link that reads, "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures." At the bottom right corner, there are two buttons labeled "Finish" and "Cancel," enabling the user to either complete or exit the action.
