It is useful to check your Java settings should you be encountering problems with Java related programs.
1. Go to your Control Panel
2. Select Java
3.You will want to go to the advanced settings in Java and scroll down to the bottom under the "Advanced Security Settings"
Under "Advanced Security Settings" you will want to make sure that "Use TLS 1.1" and "Use TLS 1.2" are not checked.
4. If they are checked, you will want to uncheck them. After you uncheck the two boxes, click "Apply" and then "Ok"
5. Close the program that was not working and re-open it
