Drive mapping location for Student Storage (H: Drive)

Below is the information needed to map a network drive to the student storage.  This is the H: drive storage that is automatically mapped when a student logs into a UWStudent Lab node.

NOTE:  There is currently a known bug that prevents Windows 10 computers running version 1903 from connecting to the Student Storage.  The vendor is aware of the issue and hopes to release a patch in October 2019.  In the meantime, student storage can be accessed through a lab node or through WyoSecure(Updated 9/11/2019)

The student path for drive mapping  is \\userfiles\username\folders

NOTE:  You will need to change "username" with your own username, example  \\userfiles\cowboyjoe\folders

Enter this into your Search Programs and Files bar and hit enter.

If you are using a Mac, please see How to Connect to UWStudent and Classfiles Storage with a Mac for more information on how to connect.
