The steps in this guide apply when a department begins the search process for a non-benefited position, including hourly, monthly, and pooled, by creating a non-benefited job requisition in the Oracle Recruiting Center (ORC).

Please do not use this guide for Graduate Assistants, Temporary Lecturers, and/or Work-Study positions. Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) for these respective hires can be found in the WyoCloud HCM Oracle Recruiting category.

Before starting the Non-Benefited Job Requisition, you must have all the essential requisition information available. Please note that you cannot edit a job requisition once you have saved it within the Oracle Recruiting Center (ORC).

My Team Navigation
- After logging in to WyoCloud HCM, click on the My Team module tab in the top taskbar.
- Click on the Hiring application.
Create a Job Requisition
- After you have clicked on the Hiring application, the Job Requisitions page will populate.
- The Job Requisitions page will show all previously submitted job requisitions.
- Click on +Add in the upper right-hand corner to create a new job requisition.
- After you have clicked on +Add, subsequent job requisition sections will populate, including:
- How
- Basic Info
- Hiring Team
- Requisition Structure
- Job Details
- Posting Description
- Offer Info
- Attachments
- Questionnaires
- In the How section, please complete the following:

Enter the position number/code using one of the formulas below. The system will search for the position as you type within the field. Click on the correct position name from the search results using the available drop-down menu.

Hourly Non-Benefited Position Numbers
HN + 5-digit Department Code
Example: HN24010 = Hourly Non-Benefited (HN), pooled position for Vending Services.

Monthly Non-Benefited Position Numbers
SN + 5-digit Department Code
Example: SN14101 = Salary Non-Benefited (SN), pooled monthly position for Accounting/Finance.

Use the Chart of Accounts Organization webpage to locate UW Department Codes.
|
If creating a job requisition for a pooled position monthly, please confirm that the exempt position fulfills the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations.
|
- Click on Continue when finished.
- After you have clicked on Continue, an Information pop-up window will appear, informing you that the correct job requisition template has been chosen for the new position.
- The contents will look like the screenshot below.
- Click again on Continue to proceed.

Please note that once you have clicked on Save and Close, you cannot edit any job requisition information.
|
- In the Basic Info section, please complete the following:
Requisition Title
|
The field will default based on previous selections. Please confirm that the Requisition Title (position name) is accurate.
|
|
HR Recruiting recommends that you include the department's name after the position to ensure potential candidates apply for the right job.
Example: Pooled Position Monthly - WY Conservation Corps
(Position Name) - (Department Name)

Number of Openings
|
These fields will automatically populate to Limited and 1 (number of positions available). If necessary, click on the drop-down arrow within the field to update according to the number of employees you will be hiring for this position. Example: Unlimited

Business Justification
|
Click on the drop-down arrow within the field to select the reason for the position from the available menu. Example: New Position.
|
Comments
|
Please provide a brief explanation of the reason for the position.
|
- Click on Continue when finished.
|
Please note that once you have clicked on Save and Close, you cannot edit any job requisition information.

- In the Hiring Team section, please complete the following:
Hiring Manager
|
The field will default to the person completing the job requisition. Please ensure that the Hiring Manager listed is the supervisor of the new position.
|

Add Collaborator Type
|
Use the drop-down arrow to select the appropriate Collaborator Type for each Search Committee Member from the available menu.
|
Start by typing the name of the Search Committee Member in the appropriate field. The system will search for the person as you type within the field. Click on the correct name from the search results using the available drop-down menu.
|

Please complete the Add Collaborator Type steps for each Search Committee Member. For efficiency, click on the blue hyperlink under a collaborator to duplicate the role.

All Search Committee Members will need HCM Recruiting Cloud Access.
|

If a Search Committee Member does not see the steps detailed within this guide, their HCM Recruiting Cloud Access Training is most likely incomplete. Please contact hr@uwyo.edu to have this training assigned to the Search Committee Member.

- Click on Continue only when finished.

If the Hiring Manager listed is updated to the correct position supervisor, a Warning pop-up window will appear. The contents will look like the screenshot below.

- In the Requisition Structure section, please complete the following:

The field will default based on previous selections. Please confirm that the Recruiting Type (job requisition template) field is accurate.

|
This field will automatically default to the United States. Please update the Primary Location to the city/town where the new position will be located. Example: Laramie.

In the Posting Description section, you will need to provide further details for all new positions not located on the main Laramie campus.

- In the Attachments section, please include the following documents (attached materials are not visible to potential applicants in the posting description):
- HCM Funding Form
- If applicable, Direct Hire/Exception to Posting materials, including the department’s organizational chart, the candidate’s resume/CV, and other pertinent information that supports the direct hire.
- Click on Continue when finished.

Please note that once you have clicked on Save and Close, you cannot edit any job requisition information.

- The fields in the Questionnaires section are automatically populated according to organizational standards (the content within the Internal and External Prescreening Questionnaires cannot be modified).
- However, you may click on the drop-down arrow within the Add Question field to include a pre-approved question from the available menu.
- Start typing a keyword in the box to find associated questions.
- Please note that if you add a question to the internal questionnaire, you must include the same question in the external questionnaire (both the Internal and External Prescreening Questionnaires must be exact).
- After you have added a question, please check the Requires Response box.
- Disregard the Interview Questionnaires section.

Requisition Section Edits
- Before you Save and Close the non-benefited job requisition, please take a moment to review the contents.
- Click on Edit on the right-hand side of each section to confirm the accuracy of the information.
|
Please note that once you have clicked on Save and Close, you cannot edit any job requisition information.

Save and Close
- After you have confirmed that all the sections within the non-benefited job requisition are accurate, click on Save and Close in the upper right-hand corner.
- HR Recruiting will now review the completed non-benefited job requisition.
- After approvals, the new position will be posted, and an email notification with the application link will be sent to the person who completed the non-benefited job requisition.
This completes the steps to create a non-benefited job requisition in the Oracle Recruiting Center (ORC) for hourly, monthly, and pooled positions.
