Yes. Cookies are stored in your profile, the files that keep track of all your individual user settings. If your UWSTUDENT profile is too big or has too many files in it, it can take longer for your account to logon to a computer or can take you over your profile quota, preventing you from logging off until you delete files from your profile. Your profile can also become corrupt, preventing you from logging on at all or resulting in the loss of some of your settings like Internet Explorer Favorites, your Desktop background, or files saved directly to your Desktop (which is never recommended on UWSTUDENT lab computers)
