The download the desktop version, you can go through the online option, so those are the instructions below.
- Go to WyoWeb: https://wyoweb.uwyo.edu/
- Click the Email button and login.
- Click the button with nine dots in the upper left hand corner. This will bring up a list of applications. Click More apps.
- Depending on what list of applications show up on the next screen, you may need to click the All App link in the lower right corner of the list.
- On that list, you will have PowerBI. Clicking on it will open the online option. That may have all the needed features, so you can just use this version if that is in case. If you would like the desktop version, continue to the next step.
- To install the desktop program, you want to look for the download button in the PowerBI program. It is along the top bar on the right hand side of the screen.
- When you click on it, you will get some options. Select Power BI Desktop, which should be at the top.
- This is going to open the Microsoft Store, which will have to a Green button to Get Power BI. Click that button and Microsoft will install the program. Once it is done, there will be an Open button. That will open the desktop version.
