Employee Assignments and Positions

Information

This report provides information about an employee's assignment or a department's employees as of a specific date.

 

Step One

Navigating to the Employee Assignments and Positions Report

  • Navigate to WyoCloud and click on the Reporting Table of Contents tile.

Step Two

Running the Employee Assignments and Positions Report

  • On the left-hand side of the window, there are three fields to complete before running the report.

  • As of Date: Complete this field in with the earliest known date that the employee filled the position or the date the department information is desired.

 

 

The As of Date field is mandatory. For best results, complete the Employee Name field OR the Assignment Department field.   

 

Employee Name: If searching a specific employee, click on the Search field to open the employee search list. Either scroll to find the desired employee (1), or click on, “Search…(2) to open the large Search Box.

  • In the large Search box, you can enter the employee’s name (last name, first name) and click Search (1) or scroll to find the desired employee (2).

  • Once you have found the correct person, click on their name (3) to highlight their row.

  • Use the arrow buttons in the middle field to move the employee over to the Selected Field (4).

  • Click OK (5).

Assignment Department: If conducting a broader search by department, use this field to select the department.

  • In the large Search box, you can enter the department’s name and click Search (1) or scroll to find the desired department (2).

  • Use the arrow buttons in the middle field to move the department(s) to the Selected Field.
  • Click OK.

  • Click Apply.

 

Step Three

Reading the Report

If searching by Employee Name, the report will show the employee’s position during the As of Date used. If an employee has held multiple positions, refresh the search with the appropriate As of Date to find a specific position.   

  • The report will load in the right window; example of report run by the Assignment Department:

  • Filter and sort the data using the drop-down arrows in any of the column headers (Assignment Start Date shown). Select the boxes for how you would like your data to be organized.
  • Click OK

  • Export the file to Excel. Click the Gear Icon in the top right corner. Click Export, and then click Excel (*.xlsx). This will export your file to Excel.

 

  • You may use the Browser’s back arrow to Go Back One Page and enter new information, or to return to the Reporting Table of Contents, Click on the down arrow within the Dashboard (1) and select Most Recent (Table of Contents) (2). You may also close the Browser Tab.

 

This completes the steps to run the Employee Assignments and Positions Report.
