Recording a Meeting in Teams

*Please note that recordings of meetings in Teams for faculty, staff and students have a retention policy of 60 days and will be deleted after that.  To keep these records longer, please download them.  

Now all faculty, staff, and students can record record meetings with Microsoft teams.

  1. You can access Teams on the list of Apps in Office 365.

  1. Click on the Calendar link.  
  2. Schedule your meeting.

  1. When the time for the meeting comes, click the Join button.  
  2. Within the meeting once you are reading to start the recording click the three dots and select Start Recording.

This will bring up a banner reminding you to inform the meeting that this meeting is being recorded.

  1. When you are ready to stop the recording, click the same three dots and select Stop Recording.

  1. The recording can be accessed through your OneDrive.

 

  1. Recordings will be found in the Recordings folder.

  1. Here you can download videos.
