Introduction
The University utilizes the Third-Party Services of Qualtrics. Since this is a Third-Party System, for simple questions/troubleshooting we recommend reaching out to the Qualtrics Support Page for the best assistance. Qualtrics provides direct support to help users construct, deploy, and report on surveys:

UWIT administers the University of Wyoming's site license for Qualtrics, a robust survey tool that students, faculty, and staff can use for free with an active UWYO email address.
You can create an account for yourself by:
1. Visit the UW Qualtrics homepage.
2. Logging in with your UW username and password.
Note: You will not be able to create an account using the UW license through the main Qualtrics site. Please use the link provided on the UW Qualtrics homepage.
UWIT has disabled SMS messaging functionality in Qualtrics for legal reasons.
- The primary reason for this is that documented consent for each individual phone number owner is required in order to legally contact (survey) them via SMS in a bulk messaging environment.
- In addition, opt-out management is required. Unfortunately, the lawsuits that can be generated from this activity are fairly easy to win so to protect the University of Wyoming from this legal exposure, this functionality has been disabled.
Please navigate to the following links further information.
Change the From Address to noreply@qualtrics.uwyo.edu so that the email does not include the “external email banner” and appears safe to UW employees and students.

Every UW account can send up to 500 emails through Qualtrics per week (including survey invitations and reminders). If you need to send more than 500 emails per week, request an increase in the weekly send limit by completing this request form.
