Forwarding a Phone

  • To activate, lift the handset and get a dial tone
  • Next dial *71
  • Dial the number you wish to forward the call to then hang up the phone
  • To cancel, lift the handset, get a dial tone and dial #71
  • You will hear a confirmation tone, hang up the phone

*If you are forwarding your office phone to a cell phone you can only forward to local cell phone numbers. If you are forwarding to an out-of-state number there will be long distance charges for each call. To change your long-distance capabilities on your office phone, you will need authorization from your billing coordinator.
