Self-Register for UW Alert

Currently UW uses this service for emergency alerts only.

1. Go to www.getrave.com/login/uwyo.
    
2. On the Rave Alert homepage, click the Register button. 
    
   
   
   
    
3. In the Create Your Account window, fill out the form and click Next.
   During the initial registration you must use your username@uwyo.edu email address. Once your account is created, you can log in and add additional email addresses to receive alerts. 
    
4. If you provided a Cell number you will be prompted to confirm your carrier. Confirm your carrier and click Proceed to Next Step. 
    
5. After submitting the form, any alerts will be sent to the address you provided on the form. Check your email for a message from no-reply@getrave.com. Click on the link provided in the message.
    
6. If you included a cell phone number, you will be prompted, in the Confirm Your Mobile Number window, to enter a confirmation code. This confirmation code was sent via text to the cell phone number you provided. Enter the 4-digit code, and click Finish.
    
   
   
   
   NOTE: If you do not receive a code, you can click on the link to request a new one, or click Skip, I'll enter code later to skip the confirmation for now and finalize your registration.
   
   If you did not enter a cell phone number, you can still register for the alert service, but all notices will be sent to your email account. You can add a cell phone number at a later date.
