- Click the Windows or Start button and type Run into the search bar. Click enter.

- Type cmd in the Open prompt of the Run menu and click OK to launch a command prompt window.

- Type ipconfig /all at the command prompt to check the network card settings.

- The IP number and MAC address are listed by ipconfig under IP Address and Physical Address.

You can print this information to a text file by using the command ipconfig /all >ipconfig.text

You will then find the file by following that file path on your computer.
