Ivanti
The Ivanti VPN, also known as WyoSecure, is a Virtual Private Network that allows remote connection to the UWYO network. The Ivanti VPN is necessary for accessing warehouse drives, remote desktop, and other secure applications from off campus. This article covers installation and use of the Ivanti VPN on a Windows computer. Installing Ivanti
You can install Ivanti through Company Portal, or from the UW VPN downloads page.

Installing Ivanti through Company Portal
Company Portal is the latest version of our Software Center. It provides an easy way to browse and install University-approved software with just a click.You can read more about its use here.
1. Click on the Windows Icon on the taskbar and search for Company Portal, the first time you launch it may take longer as it signs you in.
2. Click Apps on the left side and then scroll to Ivanti Secure Access.
3. Click Install and wait for the install to finish.
4. Once its installed go to Step 7 for instructions on launching and connecting the VPN.
Installing Ivanti from the UW VPN downloads
1. Navigate to UWIT Security Software Ivanti and click on the Windows installer.
2. Run the installer once its finished downloading.
3. Select Yes on the Admin by Request prompt.
4. Select Next.
5. Select Install.
6. Once the install is complete select Finish.
7. You can launch Ivanti by clicking the Windows icon and searching for "Ivanti", or selecting the key Icon in the bottom right of the taskbar.
8. The first time you launch Ivanti, it will look a little different. Select the green power button next to Wyosecure to connect the VPN. If Wyosecure does not appear when you launch it go to Manual Configuration.
9. Login to the Wyologin page with your UW credentials.
11. If you are off campus, A Duo Mobile window will then open, enter the 6 digit code from the Duo Mobile app on your smartphone.
Wait for Ivanti to connect.
10. Once its connected you will get the following screen, select OK.
11. Ivanti will relaunch and will now look like the classic Ivanti UI.
Manual Configuration
If Ivanti does not have the Wyosecure connection when you launch it, select Add a new Connection and enter the following information:
Type: Policy Secure (UAC) or Connect Secure (VPN)
Name: WyoSecure
Server URL: https://wyosecure.uwyo.edu
