Because of a problem with Internet Explorer, simply choosing Delete Cookies from the Internet Options menu may not always work. To correct this problem, the UWSTUDENT lab logon process checks for excessive numbers of cookies. If you have more than 500 cookies, you will receive a prompt asking you if you want to delete your cookies.
In most cases, deletion of these files is recommended, unless you know of specific cookies that you need to keep. Once the files have been removed, you will receive a confirmation message that your cookies have been deleted.
You can also delete your cookies manually by clicking the Start menu button, and clicking My Computer. Open the C:\drive, open the Documents and Settings folder, open the folder listed with your UWYO domain username, and then open the Cookies folder.
