How to Create an Account Profile for MyWyocast


To use the MyWyocast service, an account profile must be created first. This is a one-time process and does not need to be repeated once the account has been created.

Note: You must have the proper Banner roles to be able to create an account. If you get an error saying access denied, call the IT Help Desk and contact your department.


  1. Go to
  2. In the “Welcome to Mediasite” window:
    • Enter your full name to be displayed as your profile
    • Enter your username
    • Local Time Zone should remain unchanged

  3. Click Continue.
  4. An email will be sent to the email address that you entered. Click on the link in the email to activate your account.

  5. The link will go to a Mediasite System Overview web page that may display Mediasite Announcements..

  6. Close the web page.

You now have an active account in MyWyocast. To get back to MyWyocast at any time, go to
