There is a local admin username for your login. You will be contacted with the local admin username and password. When logging into the local account, please add .\ in front of your local username.
- For Windows surface products, please be aware that Microsoft Office 365 is already pre-installed. You can use your UW account to activate the license.
- The Windows 10 license will be expired after 180 days. At that time, you have two choices:
- Synchronize the license at UW: Bring your laptop to UW and plug a hardwired network cable into your laptop, or use wireless for a network connection to synchronize the Windows license.
- Synchronize the license at HOME: You can open the “Ivanti secure” console for a remote connection to the UW network environment. The “Ivanti secure” console is on the bottom right corner of the screen. The icon looks like this:
. After you successfully connected to the UW network area, please keep the “Ivanti secure” connection to be connected for a while.
