How do I connect to the UW Wireless?

Introduction

If you need access to UW wireless, there are three options. 

1. Use UW if you have a UW account (an @uwyo.edu email address).
2. Use UWguest if you do not have a UW account, you’ll be asked to provide your email address to our UWguest web portal as part of the logon process.
3. Use eduroam if your home institution is part of the eduroam initiative. A list of participating institutions can be found here, https://www.eduroam.org/?p=where. 

Available to

All UW students, faculty and staff and guests on the UW campus.

Procedure

Select the appropriate network above. If it is your first time connecting to UWyo or eduroam, you’ll be asked for your username and password and you’ll also need to accept a certificate from the authentication server before you can access the network. If you use UWguest you’ll need to open a web browser and go to a web site. You’ll be redirected to the guest portal where you will enter your email address before being able to browse the web.
