Introduction

Microsoft Print to PDF lets you save a document, webpage, email, or other printable content as a PDF file instead of sending it to a physical printer. This is useful when you need to share, archive, or preserve information in a format that keeps the original layout and can be opened on almost any device.

Print to PDF can be used in any application that supports printing. The pictures in this article show the process of printing a Word document to a PDF file, but the instructions will be similar from other applications.
