You have the ability to enable or disable cookies, or have Internet Explorer prompt you before accepting cookies. Be aware that disabling cookies may prevent some Web services from working correctly, and disabling cookies does not make you anonymous or prevent Web sites from tracking your browsing habits. Web requests still include information about where you came from, your IP address, browser version, operating system, and other information.  

To change how your account handles cookies, open Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu, click Internet Options, select the Privacy tab, click the Advanced button, select the Override automatic cookie handling check box, choose the custom options you prefer, and click OK.
