Introduction
The recommended methods to access UW Exchange email is to use the Microsoft Outlook desktop application or Outlook Web App (OWA). The currently supported versions of the Outlook client are Classic Outlook and New Outlook for Windows computers, and Outlook for Mac computers. Microsoft Outlook is part of the Microsoft Office suites UW has available to faculty, staff and students.
Email Options
Accessing through the Outlook Desktop App
If you haven't done the setup for your UW email on the Outlook app before, refer to this article for how to add the account: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-an-email-account-to-outlook-for-windows-6e27792a-9267-4aa4-8bb6-c84ef146101b. Otherwise, if you have no account set up yet, then Outlook will start by asking you to add an email address. Here you can input your UW email.
If you are asked to select your email provider, please select Microsoft 365.
Accessing Outlook Web App
The Outlook Web App can be used on any device with Internet access. To access your UW email via OWA, follow the same steps in this article: https://uwyo.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1940/Portal/KB/Article/7391/Accessing-Email-from-Student-Labs or by going to https://outlook.office365.com/owa/uwyo.edu and logging in with your UW email and credentials.
Accessing through Mac Mail
