Note: Functional knowledge and use of this application is the responsibility of the user.
While Office 2021 LTSC is supported, it is our recommendation to install Office through your Office 365 account.
Through the Microsoft Campus Agreement, the University of Wyoming (UW) provides the latest versions of Microsoft Office 2021 LTSC (for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems) for UW-owned computers. Supported versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system are also provided through this agreement. These specific Microsoft software installations are provided free of charge to departments.
Cooperating agencies will need to make arrangements through the UW Microsoft Academic Select License Program to gain access to these resources. Further information on this program can be found on the UW Select Program Web page or call 766-3686.
For ease of installation of this software, Information Technology (IT) provides network installation points. Access to these network locations is restricted to UW domain accounts, and the Microsoft licenses restrict the installation of these products to UW-owned computers only.

Minimum System Requirements for Microsoft Office 2021 LTSC for Mac
Intel or Apple Silicon (As supported by the three most recent versions of macOS.)
Office for Mac is supported on the three most recent versions of macOS (11 or higher). As new major versions of macOS are made generally available, Microsoft will stop supporting the oldest version and support the newest and previous two versions of macOS. Product functionality and feature availability may vary on older systems. For the best experience, use the latest version of any operating system specified above.

NOTE: These are the minimum requirements for running Office 2021 for Mac. Performance may be degraded if the computer resources are limited by a minimum configuration.
Procedure for UW Owned Computers
1. Access the volume Mac install file.
a. Click here to access the volume Mac install: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=2009112
b. In Finder, go to Downloads folder and double-click on Microsoft_Office_16..._BusinessPro_Installer.pkg
c. Click continue on the introduction dialog box.
d. Click continue for the Software License Agreement
e. Click Install for the Standard Install on “Macintosh HD”
f. If the following message appears, click Agree.
g. When prompted, enter your username and password.
h. Office 2021 LTSC has been installed. Follow steps 2 and 3 to activate the software via the Microsoft Office LTSC 2021 Serializer software.
