Note: In order to install OpenText, all other anitvirus applications must be uninstalled.
Note: OpenText is intended for University owned computers only.
Note: To install OpenText on a UW computer off campus, you will need to log into www.wyosecure.uwyo.edu and start Ivanti Secure. Then follow the instructions below.
Install OpenText Manually

Make sure that all other antivirus applications have been uninstalled from your computer.

Click the Start menu button and in the Search programs and files box type \\uwapps\AntiVirus\WebRoot-Installers and press enter
- Open the folder for Windows
- Double click c8fd-gsmt-763b-f619-4a93.exe
Note: You may or may not be asked for admin credentials. If you are asked, you can get temporary admin access by connecting with us at support.uwyo.edu.
- Once OpenText installation is complete, a scan will take place.
