Permanently saving Konica copier user tracking option for Mac computers

If a Mac operating system is not permanently saving the Konica user tacking option follow the steps below to change the default options for the printer so that is will stay checked by default.

1.) From terminal type in the command below and hit enter

Cupsctl WebInterface=yes

2.) Then exit terminal and from a browser go to


3.) Then click on the KM printer, under administration select default options - then select finishing options - turn on account tracking and click set default options. It may ask for the credentials of the computer.

You should then be able to save the code successfully as a default option.

Last of all go to Word and then go to "print". From this menu below select output method and the user tracking and set the code for the specific user. From now on it should remember the account tracking code.
