Install Konica Minolta Drivers on Mac

Note: On the front of the Konica Minolta copier there is a sticker with information you will need to find the correct driver.  You will need to make note of the printer model name/number (eg. bizhub c308) and also the printer name (eg. IT155KM) before proceeding to the next steps.

Procedure

  1. Find and download the driver from the Konica Minolta website:  https://onyxweb.mykonicaminolta.com/OneStopProductSupport

  1. In the Quick Search type in your Konica Minolta printer model and press Enter.

  1. On the next page, click on the Drivers tab to list all the operating systems that Konica Minolta has drivers for.

  1. Find your OS and click on it to expand.

*Note: If you don't know what your Mac's operating system is, click on the Apple menu on the top left of your Mac's desktop and select "About This Mac".  The operating system will be listed in the Overview page.*

  1. You will see a list of drivers for your OS version that are available.  You’ll want to download the one that has the default paper size as Letter.  Click on the .zip to download the file.

*Note that the model of the KM Driver your downloading may not appear to be the same as what you searched for.  When you go to add the printer your correct driver model will appear.*

  1. The driver should download and be placed in your downloads next to the trash bin.  Find the .pkg file you just downloaded and click to open and initiate the driver install.

NOTE - If you see a folder instead of the package, open the folder and then double click on "Letter" folder. Install the package (.pkg/.dmg) file located in that folder.

  1. In the install window click Continue at the Introduction page.

  1. Click Continue at the Read Me page.

  1. Click Continue at the License page.

  1. You will get a pop-up with an option to Read License.  Click Agree.

  1. Click Install at the Installation Type page.

*You will be prompted to enter your password for your Mac*

  1. Click Close at the Summary page.  The installation of your KM driver is now complete and you can now add the printer.
